About West Suburban Irish Learners
We're a community of Irish language enthusiasts dedicated to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment for all levels.

Our story
Started by a local resident hoping to speak with other Irish language learners, the group has grown immensely in the past two years. We believe the most important step in learnings a language is speaking it. We focus on conversational Irish, emphasizing speaking during our classes. Our group is comprised of Irish language learners of every level, from brand new to experienced speakers. We have multiple levels of learning groups, so you'll always find a place to fit in and grow.

What makes us different
WestSuburbanIrishLearners stands out through its welcoming and supportive environment for learners of all levels. Our classes are free, and we primarily meet at Quigley's Irish Pub in Naperville, Illinois, creating a relaxed and social atmosphere for language learning. Join us for a pint and practice your Irish!

Our ideal learner
We're looking for individuals who are, above all, kind and enthusiastic about improving their Irish language skills. Whether you're a complete beginner or fluent speaker, if you're eager to learn and participate in a supportive community, you're the perfect fit for West Suburban Irish Learners. Join us!
"I am so happy that I found our group two years ago. Our Gaeltacht is such a warm and welcoming community. Since I joined, my Irish speaking abilities have greatly improved and I am happy to have met so many incredible people who became close friends."
